Crispy sourdough bread houses sweet yellow onions, PitCraft Slow Smoked Turkey and melty Havarti Cheese for a masterful take on a classic grilled cheese.
In a small skillet over medium heat, sauté the onion in olive oil until soft and fragrant. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Top one slice of bread with the pepper jelly, half of the cheese, the sauteed onions, turkey and the rest of the cheese. Place the other slice of bread on the sandwich.
Melt the garlic butter on a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill the sandwich until the bread is crisp and golden brown and the cheese has melted. About 3-4 minutes per side.
